F.R.A.M.E.D – Website for Family Rights

June 11th, 2009 No comments

While looking for updates on the Kate Hopkins child custody trial in Tennessee, I ran across an interesting website by a father in Georgia. He’s living near the area of Tennessee in which the Kate Hopkins trial is being held, as he mentions in this post.

His website is called F.R.A.M.E.D. which is short for Family Rights and Many Ending Discrimination. It appears he was victimized by the family law courts much as many fathers are. Originally, he was focused on “men ending discrimination” but over time has realized that it’s not just fathers but many parents and children who are harmed by the family law courts. Here’s his story in his own words as quoted from his website:

Spying on Your Cell Phone

June 2nd, 2009 No comments

Your cell phone can be used by other people as a tool to spy on you and those around you. It can be used to listen to your conversations, listen to the sounds around it even when you are not using it, and to track your location and movements. It is not just fascist governments and law enforcement agencies doing this to their citizens. Criminals and even family members could be using the same spying techniques on you.

Sotomayor Nomination Focus on Abortion Rights is Misguided

May 29th, 2009 No comments

Mainstream media and political pundits are winding up their broken record players to interrogate Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor with the inevitable and unending question: “What are your views on abortion?”

It’s time to get off this broken-down bandwagon. Her views on rights of due process, parental rights, 2nd amendment gun rights, freedom of speech, illegal government law enforcement tactics, and many other civil rights issues are far more pressing than her views on abortions. Yet abortion questions seem to be the the majority of the discussion on her qualifications for a seat on the US Supreme Court.

Republicans Fail to Offer Family-Friendly Policy Choices

May 25th, 2009 1 comment

With mainstream media regurgitating stories about the demise of the Republican Party, you’d think the Republicans would be working hard to identify issues that would address serious needs and crises that are ignored by the Democratic Party. Yet Republicans seem to be simulating an “ostriches on the beach orgy” when it comes to issues close to the hearts and minds of Americans. These include family issues which the GOP ignores while its members stick their collective heads in the sands of gay marriage and abortion.

The Shock Doctrine: Naomi Klein’s Aid to Abusive Governments

May 21st, 2009 No comments

In her book The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism, author Naomi Klein unveils her opinions on the perhaps not so surprising tactic of abusive governments everywhere: the use of coups, regime changes, and disasters to push radical agendas that could not be pursued during normal circumstances. She coins the phrase “disaster capitalism” to refer to this pattern of destruction or distraction paired with policies designed to transfer power or wealth to corporations.

Klein cites examples from regions and disasters across the world, including the United States and the 9/11/2001 terror attacks, the Southeast Asian tsunami, and the Hurricane Katrina destruction of New Orleans. She also covers examples of economic disasters created by government changes in countries all over the world, including Argentina, Chile, Poland, Russia, and China. Throughout her book, she lays the blame for nearly all of these messes used to spread bad government policies on economist Milton Friedman and his theories.

Abducted Ashley Gonis Still Can’t See Her Father

May 20th, 2009 7 comments

Never in the history of the world has there been a situation so bad that the government can’t make it worse. — Unknown author

Ashley Gonis, who went missing in 2007, is expected to be reunited with her father

Ashley Gonis

Frank Gonis of Montreal, Canada, hasn’t seen his 10 year old daughter Ashley in two years. His ex, Araceli Bravo, illegally abducted her in January 2007 and took her to British Columbia to keep her from seeing her father despite court orders that required her to share custody of their daughter. An arrest warrant was issued for her in Quebec, but she wasn’t found until Ashley dialed 911 from a train station pay phone to get help after running away from her mother.

Pandering Anti-Family Politicians Abuse Children and Fathers

May 12th, 2009 No comments

What do President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and California Assembly Member Jim Beall have in common?

The first thing that may come to mind for many is that they are all Democrats. But that’s not nearly so important as that they are all politicians who curry favor with victim feminists and other women voters by engaging in father-bashing and supporting pro-child-abuse and pro-male-abuse legislation. Unfortunately for American families, especially children and their fathers, these politicians are all too happy to berate fathers. They encourage the abuse of children and their fathers in exchange for votes from the pro-child-abuse lobby consisting of disreputable organizations such as National Organization of Women (NOW) and the misleadingly named California Protective Parents Association. Such organizations are mostly comprised of feminists gone insane, but a vote is a vote for these politicians.

Beall’s Attempt to Support Child Abuse is Defanged

May 7th, 2009 3 comments

(Please see the comments to this article that indicate the California state legislative website contains misleading information that may have resulted in my wrongly concluding the Judiciary Committee voted on the pro-child-abuse version of this bill on April 28 rather than the significantly cleaned up version that is being listed with a revision date of May 5, 2009.)

This is an update to our previous article California Democrat Jim Beall Supports Child Abuse. When we started writing that article, AB 612 pro-child-abuse legislation. Despite minor changes, it was still pro-child-abuse when the Judiciary Committee voted to approve it on April 28. However, somebody in the California Assembly significantly watered it down on May 5 to a version that is no longer pro-child-abuse. These changes weren’t made until after the Judiciary Committee vote approving the bill.

You can find the the revision history of AB 612 complete with text and changes and votes at AB 612 Revision and Voting History.

California Democrat Jim Beall Supports Child Abuse

May 7th, 2009 1 comment

(Click here for an update to this post.)

A California representative, Democrat Jim Beall, has reintroduced legislation as Assembly Bill 612 (AB 612) to ban the discussion of parental alienation in child custody evaluations. California judges, psychologists, and family law attorneys all oppose this legislation because they know that parental alienation is a real problem that is harming children in many families, especially in high-conflict divorces. So do the many California parents who have been alienated from their children. And so do the grown children who are victims of parental alienation and recognize it for the damage their alienating parent caused in their own lives.

Women Get Off Easy for DV Crimes Due to Sexism

May 3rd, 2009 No comments

Western societies value the lives of men less than those of women and more severely punish men than women for similar crimes. This constitutes a form of government institutionalized sexism against men. In the process, this sexism tends to legitimize and enable violence by women against men and children. It has been well-established for decades that partner violence is most often mutual, with both partners committing acts of violence upon each other. Pretending otherwise, as Western societies do, simply enables and encourages women to assault, victimize, and even murder their partners because they know the consequences to them for their crimes are often minimal. Sexism simply helps perpetuate the problem of partner violence and its related problems of child abuse, divorce, and mental illness.

Female DV Offenders Benefit from Gender Bias

Consider the March 2009 case of Surrey, British Columbia wife Ellie Cunningham whose violent assault against her husband Adam led to his death. Canadian authorities are likely to drop the charges against the wife because she managed to kill her husband, the only witness to the crime. They are doing this even though Statistics Canada government data shows very clearly that women are often abusing men and it is seldom reported. The message sent is that it’s OK for women to abuse and even kill men.
