As our readers may be aware, we’ve taken an interest in the judicial election in the Montgomery County 221st District. This is the district in which ill-reputed Judge Suzanne Stovall still serves through the end of her term December 31, 2010. Fortunately, there are four candidates running to replace her so voters will have a choice. We emailed the candidates to encourage them to discuss their experience and positions regarding family law, false allegations, parental alienation, and high-conflict divorces.

Today we’ve received a response from Lisa Michalk.

Florida Senator Calls for Investigation of Child Abuse Report Against Tiger Woods

January 12th, 2010 4 comments

As I previously reported in DCF Poaching on the Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren Kids?, Florida’s Department of Children and Families visited the home of Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren to investigate a child abuse complaint.

Now State Senator Ronda Storms of Florida is calling for an investigation of the complaint that led to this visit. She believes that the complaint was filed falsely and maliciously and if evidence exists to prove this, she wants the Orange County State Attorney to prosecute those responsible for the complaint. She’s concerned that false child abuse reports waste state funds needlessly and take away resources from children who really do need help.

Judge Lorna Alksne in Cindy Dumas v. Eric Moelter

January 12th, 2010 3 comments

Update on March 31, 2010:
Eric Moelter has started to speak up a bit about what has happened in the false sexual abuse and child custody abduction case of Cindy Dumas v. Eric Moelter. He believes Cindy Dumas suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder and has been waging a distortion campaign against him for years. Please see our update in Eric Moelter Speaks Against Cindy Dumas Distortion Campaign.

Cindy Dumas
2004

On January 15, 2010, there will be yet another hearing in the long-running and highly destructive San Diego family law case of Cindy Dumas v. Eric Moelter that started in 2003. In this case, Dumas has alleged for years that Moelter sexually abused their children. The children corroborated some of these claims, but were viewed as potentially repeating misinformation and opinions programmed into them by their mother. Despite investigations that don’t agree with Dumas, she would not change her opinion or reach some resolution that would allow the children safe contact with both of their parents.

This article lays out many of the reported facts and statements and observable events and artifacts such as flyers and websites. Later I’ll be writing about my interpretation of the case and some of the problems with the manner in which the courts and law enforcement are handling this case and others like it.

Montgomery County 221st Judicial Election Candidates

January 9th, 2010 2 comments

Just recently it’s come out that Judge Suzanne Stovall won’t be running for re-election as a judge in Montgomery County, Texas. She’s been repeatedly criticized for her judicial decisions and actions as discussed in a previous article. According to Incumbents gain opponents with last-minute filings published just a few days ago, Suzanne Stovall didn’t file an application to run for re-election:

Corrupt Judge David Yaffe Jails Political Prisoner Richard Fine

Judicial failure to file financial disclosures can be an indicator of a serious problem. The judges involved may be attempting to hide payments they received that could bias them. This at the heart of the controversy over judicial corruption involving allegedly illegal payments by the County of Los Angeles, California, to judges in the county. In that case, judges are being paid money directly by the county as “bonuses” in a manner viewed as subverting their objectivity. Despite the payments of around $46,000 per year per judge, the judges in Los Angeles County have allegedly systematically failed to file financial disclosure form 700 required by state law. One of these judges, David Yaffe, has also jailed Richard Fine, a leading critic of corruption in California courts. He’s been in jail for nearly a year, without any charges or trial, in apparent retaliation for his campaign to clean up the Los Angeles courts.

Does Texas Judge Suzanne Stovall Deserve Re-election?

January 9th, 2010 11 comments
(Note: When this article was first published, the author was not aware the deadline for Judge Suzanne Stovall to file for re-election had just expired. Please see our article Montgomery County 221st Judicial Election Candidates for information on the four candidates who are running to fill the opening. We believe the article is still relevant because it shows the types of problems Stovall caused over the years for citizens whose cases were heard by her.)
Judge Suzanne Stovall

In response to my recent article Jason Fontaine Speaks Up About Child Custody Murders on the Fontaine murder/suicide case in California, a commenter identifying himself as “GOOD DAD” posted about his concerns regarding judicial misconduct involving Judge Suzanne Stovall of Montgomery County, Texas. In his divorce and child custody case, he believes that Stovall has acted in a biased manner which has seriously hurt his children and himself. This judge has a term that ends December 31, 2010, according to the Texas State Directory. So there may soon be an opportunity to eliminate her if she’s doing a bad job as GOOD DAD claims.

Deadly Divorces: Bonnie Hoult, Bruce Pardo, and Many More

With the December 14, 2009 murder/suicide by sociopathic grandmother Bonnie Hoult and the December 24, 2008 murders by “shooting Santa” Bruce Pardo, one might wonder if holiday season is time for family murder sprees sponsored by California family law judges. Bonnie Hoult murdered her two grandkids, Catherine and Julia Fontaine, shortly before killing her daughter Elizabeth Fontaine and then fatally turning the gun on herself. Bruce Pardo shot into and burned down a home, killing his ex-wife Sylvia Pardo and 8 members of her family. Hours later he killed himself after being severely injured during his attack.

Recently I ran across an article by Lary Holland about family law conflicts, murders, and suicides that makes it clear that child custody and divorce related conflicts are involved in a substantial number of murders and suicides year round. America’s broken family courts and mental health care systems are causing the deaths of a large number of people via injustice and inadequate treatment driving them to commit shocking crimes. Lary updates the article periodically with news about more family court related murders, his latest updated being December 15, 2009, the day after Bonnie Hoult’s crimes. He’s listed about three dozen widely publicized murder and/or suicide cases involving divorces and child custody battles in the last two years.

If you’re aware of the December 2009 child custody murders described in our article Killer Bonnie Hoult Made False Abuse Allegations Against Ex, you might have been wondering just what father Jason Fontaine has to say about the tragic events. Jason has started to write some about his feelings and thoughts on the horrendous death of his two beautiful little children in what appears be the murder-suicide plot of grandmother Bonnie Hoult and her daughter Catherine Fontaine. One of his recent postings can be found at Dreamcatchers For Abused Children on their coverage of the story. I’ve excerpted it and edited it for typographical errors below.
